Updates

Last week I had my monthly doctor appointment and I heard the heartbeat for the first time! Very exciting - makes it seem all the more real. Things are looking good so far, and I'll find out in a few weeks when my ultrasound appointment will be. Can't wait to see what this baby looks like. I've got a bit of a bump already, but my clothes still fit. Well, I tried some jeans on and the button was getting a little hard to close so I'll have to pick up some maternity clothes soon!

Penny is still getting in to all kinds of trouble. She loves the sandbox that Grandpa built for her in his backyard, and she picks apples with him every day. Her favourite things to say are, "Hi, what are you doing?" and "Look at that!"

She can count to 5 now and I've been trying to teach her colours but so far everything is blue. She knows a few of the shapes too, triangle, square, circle and oval. It's so neat to see her learn new things every day.

Anyway, cookies are ready. Time to go!
