Another Dr. Appt.

This morning was time for my monthly doctor's appointment, but this time Penny had one too. It was her 2 year check up and she did just fine - although she did scream when the doctor touched her, but got over it pretty quick. Again, she's in the 90th percentile for height, measuring in at 90cm (almost 3 feet tall already!), and 80th for weight at 28.8 lbs. I can't believe how big she's getting. The dr. had asked me where this height was coming from as neither mine or Dorsie's family is very tall. I have no idea, really! I guess we'll see what happens what she gets older - maybe it will even out and then she'll be one of the short kids - who knows!

The only other thing the dr. mentioned was to get Penny off the soother. Just as a precaution for her teeth as I don't want to be bringing her to the dentist later on to spend hundreds of dollars on braces. It will be very tough to get that thing away from her as she can't fall asleep without it, but it has to be done.

We also bought a potty seat for her today. Looks like I'll need a lot of luck and patience these next few weeks getting her off the soother and on to the potty. Good times ahead...

The other baby is doing fine too. Heartbeat sounds good and my ultrasound appt. is on October 13th. I'll see if I can get some pictures out of the deal too.
