Cat
I have renamed Pickles to Cat - not kitty or kitten - just Cat. This Cat continually wakes me up at all hours of the night, does not let me catch up on sleep with an afternoon nap because she tears up the couch from top to bottom, even going so far as to scratch a hole underneath the couch where she can then run around inside, chews up the carpets, gets stuck in the verticle blinds, digs in the plants, chases anything that moves which includes my feet as I walk by, and does not seem to learn after repeated episodes of being sprayed with the water bottle. Is it wrong to be so angry with a tiny 4 lb. ball of black fluff?
I can handle being woken up by Penny and the new baby when it does finally arrive, but to know that I will be waking up to all 3 of them is not going to go over very well. I'm assuming this Cat will calm down but I am losing patience so she better calm down soon. It's times like these that I really miss my Stinky. I know this Cat will be great when she's older, right? If I can't handle a new kitten, how the hell am I supposed to be able to handle a new baby. This is just a test.
Penny is still asleep as she was up 4 times last night. I can only assume that she's working on those 2-year molars of hers. Some nights are better than others.
I will get a full nights sleep eventually - maybe in a year or ten from now.

In Bfast @ Tiffany's Holly Golightly named her cat "Cat". She pretended that she didn't give a damn about Cat but in the end she loved the little creature.

When your Cat finally does slow down with age and just lies around the house like a big useless lump(Morris), will you wish then that she was a little more playful? I'm thinking after it gets spayed you'll get some sleep. Don't give up on Cat, she might save your life 1 day.............ha

If & when Penny decides that she loves her Auntie Sarah... I would be more than happy to look after her to let you sleep in peace... but you would still have to deal with Cat
